There just aren’t enough words… Also, the mental gymnastics some are doing to explain Leon Musket’s nazi salute not being a nazi salute…is just…flabbergasting. All gold medalist in mental gymnastics and generalized stupidity.

My sister said there's like five, but one she named was "the red devil", which has a much longer name. I believe that is the one he begins tomorrow for the next five days, and needs to be in patient to monitor fluids (I'm sure you know all about how harmful it is).

As of now, no growth. I just can't even wrap my head around this. Beginning of October, he had some leg pain and weird swelling. Within a month, he qualifies to be a Make a Wish Kid. All of the worst case scenarios I was imagining before the MRI were bad, but cancer was so not on my radar.

CT scan showed same concerning spot on lung, but have determined it's too small to biopsy. The plan is chemo and probably eventually radiation on that as well. There's so many questions I want to ask my sister but unless she wants to share, I don't think she has the bandwidth.

I'm so happy to hear that there is no longer evidence of disease! They didn't officially grade it (at least my sister hasn't told me after the bone marrow biopsy). It is Ewings Sarcoma though officially. They found a small spot on his chest on the PET scan, however, it didn't light up.

How are you doing now, by the way? 18 months sounds very rough!

Thank you so much! So far he has had two rounds of chemo two weeks ago, and Monday he begins a 5 day in patient series of chemo. It already has made him sooooooo tired. Hopefully he can enjoy Thanksgiving today and not think about Monday too much.

All started with leg pain and swelling with zero explanation. My paramedic brain ran through several bad possibilities: blood clot, compartment syndrome somehow, cellulitis etc. Cancer was not on my radar. The doctor seems very good and was 100000% positive it's cancer. If you pray, please do.

I don't have many followers on here who know me IRL, so this is the place I get to say what I'm feeling. My nephew , who is 12, very recently found out that he has some type of osteosarcoma. Today pathology reports come back regarding staging, type, etc. Guys, I'm so sick to my stomach.

Btw, my Miss Frizzle earrings are wearing the same dress I am, probably my favorite part!
