Oh, that might've been a more interesting solution than my ice-bridge...

I have a lot of assets already created from my previous project, and I'm just recreating that project. It just doesn't make much practical sense for me to add those things yet.

Right. I've been focusing more on gameplay to the point that anything reliant on animation timings hasn't even been added yet. And the levels are just blocks. But it's just not exciting to look at.

The really unfortunate thing about restarting my beaumont game engine is that bits of progress aren't at all interesting to share, as it's just a more efficient solution from scratch to something i already had before (but probably not great) and the art assets are all bad and simple now.

Yeah... I think it's a good way to encourage exploration, but it sucks to rush through an experience in pursuit of value. And ever since Natlan, they keep giving us so much content & value, it can get overwhelming trying to do it all in such a short span of time.

I didn't even realize that it was a basic ashlander hut in the first screenshot...
