Like when I say I’m sick of sex scenes in everything it’s because most of the time these scenes are not advancing the narrative. They’re a break in the show to watch porn. You can say SO much through a sex scene but for most of these shows… that’s not what’s happening

The essayist mentioned that a lot of sex scenes feel like directors mashing naked dolls together and we’re supposed to think it’s hot because the people fucking are hot and like… it’s boring. I’m bored. I don’t personally think these people are hot and this scene is bland as fuck
