The City of Renton raised the Juneteenth flag to honor the end of slavery and the ongoing fight for Black freedom and justice. This moment belongs to Black Americans. As a white ally & LGBTQ+ advocate, I was honored to support a ceremony that reflects community, history, and justice for all.

I ran a queer history/education account. I put up with all the hateful comments the platform promoted, but I couldn't continue to meaningfully do education work as words like "cisgender" became slurs on the platform and pay-to-play limited the reach to effectively nothing.

June 7th we will be doing some form of a civic engagement town hall event. October 25th will be some kind of spooky Pride festival and fundraiser!

Yes! This will be our sixth year. We partner with the city for Pride flag raising, Renton River Days for a parade, run an annual event, and keep involved on municipal bodies and local events.

At the Dragon’s Landing Celebration by the Renton Municipal Arts Commission. Lots of amazing artwork and cosplay gear here! ⚔️ 🛡️ 🐉
