Some of these are more niche outside the UK. In no particular order I'd love to make games for:

Grim Fandango
Space: 1999
Farscape
Paranoia
Twilight Imperium
Dr Drago's Madcap Chase
Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons
Space Precinct
Flash Gordon
Wallice and Gromit
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I had a lot of fun recently with Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown. It loosely follows the main plot of Voyager, only you're Janeway. You get to make all the decisions, and can make different ones if you want.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social i know you have a lot on your plate, but I promise you there are votes here from a population fed up with the usual nonsense sectarianism & crying out for a viable alternative.

No idea if you can help the NI Greens, & not even my place to be asking but I'm doing it, anyway

Why does the BBC have a Reform UK chyron? Why did they use this chyron on Breakfast this morning at 6:06am? Do they have chyrons for any other political parties? When are they used? Why was the ordinary BBC News branded chyron not used?

The only thing funnier than the leopard eating her face is that she's complaining to the Leopard in Chief about her face being eaten trying to get him to stop, while that leopard is eating it.

And the sad thing? Despite this genuine safety problem, she still supports Trump. She's learned nothing.

The line between disorder and order lies in logistics...

An army marches on its stomach.

How the fuck did the US fuck up their supply lines this badly?

Stopped into Chapters before getting the train home. Much the same as I remember it being, only the second hand Dvd section has gone. I did buy four new Star Wars books, seeing as they were right there on the shelf calling out to me through the Force.

I probably would consider it though if the pain came back, or the riboflavin stopped working. Migraine pain is the worst.

I've heard of it as an option, but never seen anyone offer it locally. Right now the high dose riboflavin is working really well, and the neurological aura symptoms are annoying but manageable. So I'm pretty happy with what I'm currently doing as a preventative.

The second neurologist I saw after asking for a rereferral confirmed the diagnosis, and instead prescribed a high dose of riboflavin. That's worked pretty well at suppressing the pain, though the aura neurological effects still linger cyclically.

Topiramate/Topamax made me feel wrong. Like a zombie but worse. Can't quite describe it, only that my brain and body did not get along. Lamotrigine kinda worked but made me incredibly anxious and unhappy. When he tried to increase the dose I became worse mental health wise, as the migraines improved

The other big thing that helped with my migraines also happened around the time of the patient recall. I was one of the patients seen by the dodgy neurologist, which was fun discovering that in the news when it was announced. While my diagnosis was sound, the treatments he recommended had issues.

That was...just over 4 years ago. Still no increase in migraine frequency, my other health markers are significantly improved, I'm happier in general, especially since I got the correct dose sorted (that took 2 years), though still a walking talking ball of anxiety.

Funny how things work out.

It took so long that I just started DIY, and by the time I was able to see him again (about a year later) I told him as such, and how I had had a decrease in migraine symptom frequency since starting. He hadn't heard back from neurology, but seeing as my migraines had not got worse, he wrote me a RX

Oddly enough I had this before I started on hormones. I suffer from migraines, and my endo was concerned that going on estrogen might exacerbate them. So he wrote off to neurology, while they were in the midst of the largest patient recall ever in NI, due to a dodgy neurologist.

Yeah, that about tracks with my experience last year. The was one other behaviour I witnessed, where it would bring out a really old "solution", 10+years, that didn't actually solve the specific problem, and relied upon long deprecated and removed API calls.

The LLMs have such a hard time with basic arithmetic, that I doubt they could even consider the differences in Big O notations.

I also wonder what might happen if someone asked them to give an algorithm to an NP-hard or NP-complete problem.

This was such a good show last night. There were so many queer people it was amazing. The question board for Ask Lucy was hilarious!

I'll definitely be going again when she's back this way!

Best thing so far about Dublin this trip? I can just go to the bathroom without any of the nonsense back in the UK.

What a difference a few miles makes ey?

Carissa Hendrix/Lucy Darling in Dublin was amazing! So so funny, such a good time.

And it seems almost everyone in the room was queer and poly going by the questions submitted before the show.

I love how customisable Android is. I got a Pixel 10 Pro XL for my new phone & I didn't like the stock Pixel Launcher. It was too rigid, I couldn't customise it in the way I wanted. So I just stuck another launcher on there, one with a lot more customisability & now everything is where it should be.

Gotta say, I'm liking how in the 6 years since I last upgraded my phone, the process of transferring from one Android phone to another has become even smoother. It's so straightforward now, and a damn sight better than it was back in the early days.

Always fun when a hot take in the Telegraph ages like milk.

Congrats, Hungarians. Orbán is toast. 🎉

Holyshit, Orbán conceded? I fully expected him to go through the Trumpian playbook of claiming a stolen election, attempt to nullify it in some way, basically do everything to try and remain in power.
