My Venus print just arrived. For anyone on the fence - Absolutely stunning, I'm in literal shock over the beauty of it!

Caught in cosmic alignment. This red arc is a distant galaxy, its light bent into a glowing partial Einstein ring by a massive galaxy 2.7B light-years away. A rare lensing gem spotted by a citizen scientist. Credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, H. Nayyeri et al

FOR THOSE WHO COME AFTER SMOOSHER
Deep‑sky astrophoto of a dense, glittering globular star cluster set against a dark, sparsely starred background. I laid in the field while taking this, overthinking about everything as usual. This time felt different, a thousand emotions burning inside much like the stars themselves in my photo. A night where I felt too much, but where the stars felt back at me. There's an empty inside me now, one that I can't fill with my partner who loves me, and friends who like me. A deep longing, an eternal loneliness. A darkness between the stars. Maybe if I take enough star photos, I can fill that void with light, fill that space with the shape and thought of you... and other fun lies I tell myself.
“The glitter in the sky looks as if I could scoop it all up in my hands and let the stars swirl and touch one another but they are so distant so very far apart that they cannot feel the warmth of each other even though they are made of burning.”
- Beth Revis

I wrote something! I'm rediscovering what "being online" means to me. I miss sharing about my life & gaming & stuff I care about just because, rather than chasing an algorithm.
With social media in the state that it is these days, I want to scale back to that.

Did you know that by substituting your morning coffee with green tea, you can eliminate up to 93% of what little joy you have left?
For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."

"There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him...
"We are poor technology. The human body and brain? Too capable of storing clutter. Too desperate to hold onto things. You just have to move forward."

What if I just use this entire account to post beautiful book and game quotes? I don't have anything really important to say otherwise 😂
"The pain of your absence is sharp and haunting, and I would give anything not to know it; anything but never knowing you at all (which would be worse)."
