Hi there! Today we continue the just chatting series on discord moderation. There was quite a bit of information in the previous stream, so this is "cover the rest" day
Check it out soon over at: twitch.tv/islammedmyki...

Hi there! Moderating a social space is both an adventure while presenting many hurdles. How would you go about it?
Well, I know a guy, and today - we'll be going over just that! We'll begin 1hr, 30 min from now. Hope to see ya there! twitch.tv/islammedmyki...

I'm happy to announce, the proper launch of my youtube channel!
Long overdue, but we have been doing many Just Chatting streams... with all them being around 3 hours each, they need a home!
That home is here: www.youtube.com/@TheBlackHat...
Hope to seeyah around soon! #vrchat

That's a good pick; great for Wikipedia reading and studying documentation
I has question for the land of #linux users
Are there any favorite CLI or TUI programs that you use on the daily? There are a lot of nice gems out there waiting to be explored
They sometimes need love to set up but they are seriously worth it in a lot of cases
Thank you! 'Twas fun to draw; she is a precious one <3
For @cixdon.bsky.social ; she's a bean you know

Hey you! You play #VRChat? Got a profession or passion? Would you like to be on stream?!
We'd like to have you on! Every month on stream we chat about all sorts of things, and *you* could be next.
Head over here if you'd like to apply! forms.gle/BKfFRxjn7PNR...
We're off to the races here once more! The part II of music & dragons will be happening in just a moment!
We'll be hanging out over in twitch.tv/islammedmyki...
Holy freaken cow... that was a LOT of content. We managed to get through not even half the content!
It's official, there will be a part two of this adventure! [time TBD]; we'll catch y'all next week! Until then, check out the interview with violas! He goes over his adventure in school & onward!
I had no idea there was a creepcat fursuit - it looks quite fluffy
oh yeah forgor to add - stream tomorrow will be over here:
twitch.tv/islammedmyki...
Violas the Purple Dragon with a Microphone. Kindle the cat with a microphone. A vinyl record on the top with a dragon behind it
Music? Dragons? What about... both?
We got a cool stream happening TOMORROW, featuring @violasonfire.bsky.social (the musical bird dragon) as a special guest, talking about his upcoming masters in the music craft.
The art of music, the mystery of dragons - quite a bit to explore! See ya then!
Tools used!
* screen - multi terminal management
* termdown - timer
* lynx - browser
* "ffplay <link> -nodisp" - music
got defcon radio running via @somafm.com ; tons of fun
I'll need to use this for a regular workflow, really excited to see where this will go
Ok... My inner nerd is squealing with joy
So I'm studying for a just chatting stream, when my mind goes "what if we optimized the heck out of this process?"
The result: Terminal only workflow - notes, web browser, and timer all on a single tty. 190MB total RAM, then 50 if you add ffplay for music!
Tux the penguin from supertux
Back on TUI sky for an experiment - uploading images
I got no idea what it looks like, but it's supposed to be a sprite from the game "supertux". Doing this entirely through the terminal.
got to play this game on the 2008 laptop, and surprisingly it's a benchmark. Fair though for a 2004 platformer
Ubuntu stores a bunch of their things through their apt package archive! Even if people aren't using 13.04 (Raring ringtail) anymore, they still have things for it.
For the super tux kart example, they index it under here (pool/universe/s/supertuxkart) archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/...
No idea if anyone here's ever played Super Tux Kart, but here's an old song I loved from that game from years ago www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fjv...
I had to remember where it was, and the adventure took me to the old ubuntu archives. They've stored everything as early as 2013, when I first played!
Wow that's looking really awesome! This has come a long way!
Ok I'm gonna test this - this is a program called tuisky! Took roughly 2 hours to compile onto this thing, but seems to be a lot more snappy than the webapp!
Couple of limitations atm include no videos, or viewing profiles, but posts can be viewed & created, which is pretty neat!
Oh gosh - swap nearly hit 450MB, I don't think we're uploading images on this poor lad again after that @_@
2 minutes with the single core churning like nuts, yeah that's a nope
Hey would you look at that! It blueskys!
Sending this right now through that same pictured laptop, hello from the eepc! We're using arch linux and Konqueror (webkit based) browser (2GB ram)
Ladybird was compiled on something too new, unfortunately the laptop can't run it (for now)
I'm doing a 7 minute version at a friends house today, it's weird since there's just so much packed into the entire topic. The notes file went from 13.5KB to just 2.3 (5.6x difference)
Looking forward to doing something granular on stream; lots to chat about
Good morning! ADHD is something that can be found in about 6.5% of the population. That's a significant amount, and tomorrow we'll be talking all about it for the next 3 hours
If you're interested, it'll be 7PM EST at twitch.tv/islammedmyki...
Don't think I ever really said-said this (Just sorta let things speak for itself), but I do vector graphics art. More specifically I've been an inkscape hobbyist for around 9 years
Not something I say very much, but I'm not aware of many furrs that use inkscape. it's a great app, give it a go!

Some stuff I've been running on it:
sway
nullpomino (tetris clone)
kdiamond
vlc
lynx (cli browser)
PcManFM with SMB access (for our cloud storage)
vim
In the works:
ladybird (this is taking way too long to compile)
nouveu graphics (capable of running portal)
