$100k revenue = roughly $50k to the dev, after Valve's cut + taxes

How many multi-person studios do you know that could survive after making $50k from their game launch? Not many!!

Cos graph is going up, right? So it must be good!

But hang on... it says "5,863 games". It does *not* say, "5,863 games that launched in 2025".

So what it's actually saying, is that of the nearly 150,000 games available on Steam, 5,863 of them (4% of them) made $100k in revenue in 2025.
