Which side of the Moon is illuminated has no effect on spacecraft systems. In fact, when landings start, we want to near side lit so the astronauts can see.
The far side will be mostly dark in a couple days, because it's currently a full moon (meaning the near side is almost completely lit up RN).
No need to hurt you brain. One side is lit up, the other dark, same as on Earth. Just Earth rotates much faster.
