This started out great, smart and creative... remained fun even through the gun porn... but kind of took a weird philosophical turn and got very dry. Picked up a bit at the end, but definitely a soft climax.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. A solid 4.5 star read that deftly toyed with (but refused to give in to) two tired tropes.
Great characters, a solid plot, fun action, and the perfect emotional balance.
