Of course. That’s good for the customer and the site, but leaves the home w/o a potential occupant for 7 days. Some who took advantage of the rates during the pandemic decided to put their home on STR websites instead of selling. That gamble hasn’t paid off, now that rates are high, they are stuck.

Interesting article. As slowmads and owners of a home STR websites, we see a trend of longer stays to save on fee’s (25-40%) from some of the larger STR websites. Also companies like Chase and American Airlines have revamped their points structure making it better to travel slower.
