In America you don't say "I lack empathy and basic critical thinking skills" you say "I'm just not political" which means, "I am so privileged that politics has never been personal for me so I'm not engaged and I think it makes me smarter than people who are." Isn't that amazing?

Last night I dreamed I had a short story published in a literary anthology that an international crime syndicate was trying to suppress. All of the authors in the anthology were at risk, and the FBI assigned Tina Fey to be my bodyguard. She and Lucy Liu were moving Tina's futon into our guest room.

What have we to lose from love
except what lacks foundation
Words can only carve the space
we fill with expectation

Screenshot of a tweet responding to another tweet. @SketchesbyBoze writes "In Fahrenheit 451, the abolition of reading began with tech companies simplifying books into summaries that you could read in five minutes. Because people no longer engaged with the texts, they forgot how to think. Then came the book-burnings."
Quote tweeting a tweet by @AntonJaegermm
"Very cool how every piece of digital technology is now purposively designed to breed illiteracy"
Attached to that tweet is a document or image we can't see. instead we see a pop up that reads "This appears to be a long document. Save time by reading a summary.”

This is what happened to me. I was rescued by Ray Bradbury, Robert A. Heinlein, and David Gerrold, bearing lanterns in the night.

NASA's Artemis 2 moonshot was just the 'opening act' for America's return to the moon, space agency chief says Artemis 2 kicks off a lunar "relay race" that will lead the NASA and its international partners to a moon base and, eventually, Mars, NASA chief Jared Isaacman says.

Senator Mark Kelly @SenMarkKelly

In the middle of a historic mission back to the Moon, this Administration is proposing to a 47% cut to NASA science and a 23% cut to NASA's budget overall. Last week's launch showed our country and world what we're capable of when we work together toward a common goal. None of that can happen without support for science and research.

Thanks! Michael and I were married yesterday (April 11), on the beach on Tybee Island, barefoot, both wearing kilts, with my brother Jason officiating and about 20 loved ones gathered round.

He tells us about drawing out the sensual elements of the stor...

Looking forward to seeing this new film adaption of The Stranger by Camus when it’s released in the US.

Photo of a cat with its eyes closed, cuddled up next to a statue of the Buddha, also with his eyes closed. The caption reads:

Always return to your breath...

Breath of peace
breath of compassion
breath of love

for yourself
and for all beings.

My life is infinitely better out of the closet, away from the secrecy and shame. A life of honesty and radical openness is wonderful, and my relationships - all of them - are more authentic. I am surrounded by love.
