Just had this from Planet Labs, the US government have asked satellite imagery providers for "voluntarily" restrictions on access to satellite imagery. Given a lot of them provide satellite imagery to the USG we can probably guess the outcome of not acquiescing to that request.

Investigators currently believe that the 16-year-old from the Stuttgart area contacted eleven alleged victims. Five of them are believed to have subsequently harmed themselves. The victims are children under the age of 14 and teenagers. 1/
On Nova Scotia “Police located detailed handwritten plans, imitation weapons, roughly made imitation pipe bomb and assault rifle, electronic devices including cell phone and laptop and clothing with hate symbols and concerning comments,” police said.
In Manitoba officers searched two properties associated to the Manitoba teen and seized electronic devices and two firearms owned by a relative.
Police in Manitoba and Nova Scotia say they’ve foiled plans for “violent,” simultaneous attacks on two schools and arrested two teenagers.
