I know on X there was an option when setting up your account to give you a popup to remind you to add the alt text if you hadn't. The popup doesn't seem to be there by default on BlueSky, but maybe it could be, if you don't turn it off?

Why doesn't BlueSky have the alt text reminder as a default?
