Learnt to read music at 9 with Spanish guitar (not to say I was any good). Bought an electric guitar at 16 in hope (my hope) I’d become an indie star overnight. Didn’t progress beyond power chords! 🤣 Didn’t touch it nearly 15yrs after that. The last 5yrs I’ve progressed self taught, almost 50 now!
