As Tucker Carlson pretends to claim some sort of moral high ground, here's one of the many things he said that I'm not going to forget.

Pressed by Laura Ingraham about "folks on the right" who want to see Barack Obama investigated, Acting AG Todd Blanche says "these investigations have to be done in secret"
Yes, that’s a euphemism for exactly what you think it’s a euphemism for.
The midterm gerrymandering war and the Iran war alike show Trump's inability to imagine that the people he's picking fights with have any agency, any ability to respond.
He loves his "you don't have the cards" metaphor but he's amazingly terrible at actually thinking about whether they do.
On this day in 1987, the Supreme Court rejected a Black man's argument that his death sentence was a product of discrimination. The Court upheld that racial bias in death sentencing is "an inevitable part of our criminal justice system."
When Trump and his allies launched a partisan redistricting arms race, it really does seem as if they assumed Democrats would just capitulate and grumble about how frustratingly impressive the GOP’s hardball tactics are.
That’s ... not what happened.

For the record: The Washington Post is run by partisan hacks who think we won't remember that they took the *exact* opposite stance when it was Republicans pushing their own gerrymandering grab in Texas last year -- *without* putting it up for a vote.
I'm a @washingtonpost.com subscriber. I'd like to complain that this article contains no mention of Ken Paxton's crimes, and that he's only walking free because Trump's DOJ dropped the investigation. Real journos would include that.
Beginning in March, ads targeting Black voters compared Virginia’s redistricting referendum to Jim Crow.
The mailers were sent by a little-known group that received $9 million in donations from Peter Thiel, the PayPal and Palantir co-founder who is a longtime mentor of J.D. Vance.
Bidenomics worked, and it worked particularly well for the poorest Americans. We should do it again.
Spike Lee is sitting courtside at the Knicks game in a Pope Leo jersey.
The amount he managed to get done with the literal 50-50 Senate was nothing short of remarkable, and folks managed to turn that into a disaster of will and proof Biden and Dems didn't want good things, and I still feel like flipping tables over that shit.
@sanders.senate.gov and the cult he spawned are a whole grift.
“Purity for thee but not for me”…
Until you realize that-they’ll continue to ratfuck us out of some very great candidates and democracy.
Carry on.
You heard him, Virginia.
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump I have always been a big fan of Tim Cook, and likewise, Steve Jobs, but if Steve was not taken from the Planet Earth so young, and ran the company instead of Tim, the company would have done well, but nowhere near as well as it has under Tim. For me it began with a phone call from Tim at the beginning of my First Term. He had a fairly large problem that only I, as President, could fix. Most people would have paid millions of dollars to a consultant, who I probably would not have known, but who would say that he knew me well. The fees would be paid but the job would not have gotten done. When I got the call I said, wow, it’s Tim Apple (Cook!) calling, how big is that? I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to “kiss my ass.” Anyway, he explained his problem, a tough one it was, I felt he was right and got it taken care of, quickly and effectively. That was the beginning of a long and very nice relationship. During my five years as President, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where I could. Years latter, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS, I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me, I help him out (but not always, because he will, on occasion, be too aggressive in his ask!), and he gets the job done, QUICKLY, without a dime being given to those very expensive (millions of dollars!) consultants around town who sometimes get it done, and sometimes don’t. Anyway, Tim Cook had an AMAZING career, almost incomparable, and will go on and continue to do great work for Apple, and whatever else he chooses to work on. Quite simply, Tim Cook is an incredible guy!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP 2.16k ReTruths 12.4k Likes Apr 21, 2026, 5:42 AM
Here's Trump encouraging business execs to "kiss my ass" in order to get special favors from his government. He doesn't even bother trying to hide the rampant corruption.
It’s critical to note that this clip should be taken as evidence that Trump is (obviously) taking cuts of the funds being used to build his new white house ballroom, the arc, etc
Washington can only pay attention to a scandal or two at a time, which means in the Trump age there are all sorts of should-be-big-deal scandals that don’t get the oxygen or media focus that they should.
I'll bet you've missed at least three of these: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/five-trump...
The guy I trust to do this the right way.
"Small Town PAC is about showing up in small towns, organizing in places too many people in politics have given up on, and helping Democrats compete in more places."

This is the voice of experience.
This is what California needs. Not someone who's just guessing, but someone who understands the law and how to use it.

Governor Tim Walz — "We are sick of this. A weak, reckless, Idiotic president just threw us into a war nobody asked for. No threat existed. No objectives were set. No exit plan exists. This is pure fascism." #cdnpoli
I feel like Dems have been consultant-brain-rotted by Clinton’s famous “Sister Souljah” moment—and feel like they need to include scolding “Sister Souljah” lines in every speech or appearance. You don’t. You can offer a positive message & attack the corruption of the GOP. Your enemies are not Dems.

Actually, I’ve explained this MANY TIMES
This generation of Black ppl vote MORE than any generation since we got the right to vote
But after the 1st Black was elected, WHITE PPL began turning out in historic numbers to vote for Trump. As this graph CLEARLY shows…
The “crisis” is white people.
This right here!

Best Twitter riposte of the day.
A snarky twitter post of the Armenian embassy of Iran about Trump spending too much time with his phone instead of taking care of the American people.
Sometimes one has to agree with the Iranian´s opinion on the current occupant of the White House
