No, it's complete shit, it has no decent way to find its targets and has killed a SIZEABLE number of American and allied troops. People like the huge cannon for morale reason but it's been replaced by a literal cropduster plane because it works far better on the modern theatre.

The Strange Death of Orbánism Franz Pokorny

Hungarian taxpayers paid American “post-liberal” Rod Dreher $105,000 last year to produce propaganda for Orban’s regime. www.jaccusepaper.co.uk/p/the-strang...

I really hate that people make up these fake Magazine covers to try to promote disinformation. There really isn't any Bluesky Educational Series. And tricking people with disinformation should be a criminal offense, involve public shaming, and banned from Bluesky and also from holding public office.

Because we get asked a lot.

The Technological Republic, in brief.

1. Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible. The engineering elite of Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation.

2. We must rebel against the tyranny of the apps. Is the iPhone our greatest creative if not crowning achievement as a civilization? The object has changed our lives, but it may also now be limiting and constraining our sense of the possible.

3. Free email is not enough. The decadence of a culture or civilization, and indeed its ruling class, will be forgiven only if that culture is capable of delivering economic growth and security for the public.

4. The limits of soft power, of soaring rhetoric alone, have been exposed. The ability of free and democratic societies to prevail requires something more than moral appeal. It requires hard power, and hard power in this century will be built on software.

Palantir put out a 22-point summary of their CEO's book The Technological Republic. It's pitched as a defence of the West, but if you read it through the VDA framework, verification, deliberation, accountability, what it's actually doing looks rather different.

Palantir put out the most cartoonishly evil statement possible. They’re so arrogant and self-confident they don’t seem to believe their fascistic plans can be opposed.

We must get rid of Palantir altogether.

With all due respect, wearing my own culture studies hat I'd say this is overly nostalgic and ignores how much silly, dumbass culture of the past has just been left in the dust because it wasn't worth remembering to anyone who wasn't a specialist

"All the world will be your enemy, Prince With A Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed."

Hi! A responsible title to this article would have been something like, "Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas calls for violent right-wing revolution against most of the American populace".

Wild how investors see a shoe company saying they are pivoting to AI and immediately begin shoveling money into instead of looking at the press release and saying “What the fuck are you talking about?” Just another sign of a completely irrational market.

Hegseth Borrows Violent Prayer from ‘Pulp Fiction’ to Bless Iran War at April Pentagon Worship Service For the second month in a row, Pete Hegseth, who likes to call himself “secretary of war,” read a violent prayer — that echoes a scene in the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction — during a worship ser...

At Pentagon worship service today, Pete Hegseth again read a violent prayer to bless the Iran war. But this time his prayer was apparently borrowed from 'Pulp Fiction.' I promise I'm not writing for @theonion.com now:

Amid quarrel with pope, Trump strips Miami charity of funding to house migrant kids The move comes amid rising tensions between the administration and American Catholics.

The Trump Admin has abruptly canceled an $11M contract with Catholic Charities to shelter and care for migrant children who enter the U.S. alone, ending a relationship between the Catholic Church and the U.S. government dating back to the first arrivals of Cuban exiles in South Florida.

I support @sanders.senate.gov’s efforts to stop the sale of bombs and bulldozers to Israel as the Netanyahu government levels entire towns and targets communities in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank.

I increasingly think this man’s focus on his objective to keep Clavicular conscious long enough to be forced to listen to the taunting was a canon event for Clavicular individually and for the death grip the broader incel-alt-right sphere has on young men.
