And we'd still have change to pay for NiN do an appropriate cover of the theme. Maybe. I don't know, Trent seems pretty busy these days.

Did someone port Doom to KITT yet?

Hah, that’s a funny use of previews. I’m seeing it in mid June and hopefully they’ll be comfortable by then!

I saw the downtown run and it was one of the most joyful pieces of theatre I’ve ever seen. If you could do that and Titanique in a trip you should have smiles for weeks … (oh, and the new rocky horror starts soon which I hope will be good)

Did I watch the launch today? This is some of my lego, so I’ll let you guess.

But damn, I wish my default emotion to human launches was still excitement and not anxiety. Oh well.

Refurbished tech that's better for the planet | Back Market Find the best deals on refurbished phones, laptops, and tech at Back Market. Up to 70% off when compared to new products. Free delivery, 1-year warranty, 30-day money back guarantee.

My 7.5 year old iPad Pro is still trucking along but its “Smart Keyboard folio” was falling apart and shedding pieces of rubber. Apple don’t sell replacements any more, I don’t think, but www.backmarket.com sell them refurbished. So I ordered one and I can’t tell it’s not new. I’ll use them again.

It was brisk out today in #NYC (because this winter will never end), but it was good to get out with crowds and protest. Things are very, very, not OK in this country. #nokings

”Fun” fact about New York that no-one tells you - winter here lasts 4 months. Except the times it snows on Halloween (you laugh, but), in which case it’s 5 months.

I released v1.0 of Hiccough, my tiny HTML generation library for JavaScript or TypeScript. The difference vs most other similar tools is that it doesn’t use an external file format or string-based DSL - it’s just inline code.

I do agree the current state and trajectory are untenable though. I think we need to get better about subdividing systems into the parts which need manual review, and those for which your suggestions are sufficient.

What is the steady state of LLMs and software development? In my last AI-related post (https://www.linkedin.

So software becomes a black box proven by testing & o11y. But (a) industry is far behind on this, (b) you can’t o11y your way out of a state-breaking error, like security or failed data migration. So I’m not sure this is realistic, yet.

Rewatching The Good Place and I’d forgotten what an absurdly well made piece of TV it is. The writing and the cast are top quality.

This was the push I needed to finally export all my old Evernote data and close my account there. I haven't used it in a few years, but I just don't trust Bending Spoons (the current owners) with my data.

obsidian.md is all round a much better option for me.

a man in a superhero costume is smiling at another man in a suit . Alt: Thor is smiling at another man in a suit saying “is it though”

Yeah, distinct “is it though” vibes to me. I notice there’s no mention in the article about who owns this - which I take to mean at the end of the day it’s a company or individuals in the US. So they can have all the local “operators” and “advisors” they want - if the owners want to bypass they can
