Want ⚡-fast and efficient density estimation with Bayesian properties? Quasi-Bayesian Vines are the tool you need!
We get predictive densities through recursion without any MCMC. Check out the #NeurIPS2024 poster on Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM in the East Exhibit Hall #3806.

The authors write: "If your pseudo-marginal MCMC (e.g. ABC) is stuck trying to reach to an approximate posterior, use adjusted SGLD (hugely efficient) with scoring rule posterior (guaranteed to contract to correct parameters)!"

Anastasia Mantziou has joined us as Harrison Assistant Professor. Her research interests lie in statistical analysis of networks. She specialises in statistical modelling of network populations, with applications in neuroscience, ecology, economics and cyber-security.
Join us! We are currently advertising two faculty positions: Assistant Professor (Computational, Methodological or Theoretical Statistics or Machine Learning) and Assistant Professor (Mathematical Finance). www.warwick.ac.uk/st... Deadline: Jan 6th
Welcome to the Department Kirsty Hassall! Kirsty’s research is in statistical applications in the agri-environment sector focussing on how to robustly construct hybrid models that combine empirical, mechanistic, stochastic and decision elements.
Breaking the glass ceiling of high dimensions with few training samples, when copulas meet vines.
Hello, world! We are a community-developed toolkit that performs Bayesian inference for simulators. We support a broad range of methods (NPE, NLE, NRE, amortized and sequential), neural network architectures (flows, diffusion models), samplers, and diagnostics. Join us!
The next UCL centre for Data Science/UCL ELLIS unit event will be on "Computational Statistics and Machine Learning in the Sciences" will take place in-person on the 5th December at the London Mathematical Society.
