Don't let work get in the way of moving approx. 400Kg of top soil with a wheelbarrow.

SON OF A BITCH! It looks like something silently enabled Recall on my work PC!
I was checking Task Manager for an unrelated issue and noticed a lot of activity on the NPU, which should never be used under normal circumstances. Luckily I have admin access on my machine (whether or not IT knows […]
@thanius For some reason it took me way too long to understand the perspective of the photo and for a good few seconds I thought you had a pair of gigantic NES controllers.
Great job with the design of the caddy!
Reading on the IPv8 proposal thing, it looks like it's:
A - Someone's AI-fuelled delusion given form;
B - An elaborate prank to confuse a bunch of nerds (in which case congratulations, it worked);
C - 4D chess to promote IPv6 adoption.
Calm down everyone, we'll all be fine.
First day on the Bluesky infrastructure team! I hooked up OpenClaw, and it has some amazing ideas about scaling and optimization!
@fantinel Extreme Go Horse as a service.
Listening to Angine de Poitrine is like smelling a new colour.
6 panel comic with no dialogue. An male athlete receives a medal, bites it, kisses the lady handing the medal, shouts while showing two middle fingers, sprays champagne in celebration, only to be revealed in the last panel that only placed 3rd.
Completed my yearly performance self-review.
@stefano Signs of difficult times. Scammers can't even afford to offer millions of Euros anymore.
The only thing that gets rid of this incorrect notification is to go Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Restart.
I sure love "desktop applications" being nothing more than a webpage running in Chrome in a trenchcoat.
My favourite Slack functionality is being informed there are more unread messages above or below, then scrolling there to find that there are, in fact, no unread messages.
The future of communication!
Zaaaako
Zaaaako
Zako zako zako!
After going camping and touching grass for most of last week, having to do any amount of work today feels like torture.
Turned on my laptop and one of its fans suddenly sounds like a diesel engine. Excellent, just what I needed now!
You are absolutely correct.
Forgejo instance is up!

Not much to see there at the moment, but the project I mentioned the other day now lives there (as a private repo for now) and hopefully that will give me some motivation to polish and make the it public soon.
Either something went wrong with my initial test or Apple added Stadia controller support to iOS in the latest version, because it didn't work then, but after today's update it works both wired and via Bluetooth. Nice.
Another big iOS gripe: photos and videos are not and can never be “files”, they are something else entirely, mysterious and elusive.
If your app deals in files, forget selecting any video or photos in a file picker.
Migrated my firewall rules in OPNsense to the new rules section. So far nothing has blown up.
Oh thank fuck Gboard is available!
I selfhost my own RustDesk relay. Today, after installing it on the iPad and entering the server and secret key details, I tried to connect to one of my hosts and was greeted with a key mismatch error.
To my surprise, when I looked at the key, it had some weird values tacked at the end. The […]
@onionybug.kyuppin.com That’s what I suspected, I’ll try to keep it on for a few more days and see if it improves or if I stop caring. Thanks.
I installed a textured screen protector on the iPad and I’m not sure how to feel. On one hand, it helps a lot with glare and does really feel like paper when using the pen, however the texture feels horrible on skin, it’s like touching a very dusty surface.
A large black mat at the entrance of a restaurant. The name "THE AIRMAN KITCHEN" is written in light brown followed by a picture of a small airplane.
Had lunch here today. Couldn't defeat him. :Fan:
There's an app I installed on the iPad that I was curious about (iSH), so I looked up its GitHub page. The README spirals into a tale about assembly, macros and whatnot, and ends with:
"So a warning: Long-term exposure to this code may cause loss of sanity, nightmares about GAS macros and […]
I started a personal project a while ago, and then the worst possible thing happened: I got it to a state that is very buggy but still kinda does what I need it to do, so now I have learned to live with the bugs and have zero motivation to fix it.
I should have played this a 3rd time (this was the 2nd attempt). By the end my eyes and hands were starting to get in sync, I could have played better.
I managed to pass, but at what cost…

[Fire Force / En En No Shouboutai final episode spoilers]
Fire Force transitioning so smoothly into Soul Eater was not something I was expecting, and it made me quite happy for some reason.
I was certain they would do the lazy kind of ending where interpretation is up to the viewer and a lot is […]
I love this tablet.
