So my house repairs are finished after two years and all my stuff was returned. I found my Instapot and cooked the first time in also that long (just got oven and sink back too). I made a slow cook beef roast and I'm ashamed how much of the pot is gone after 48 hrs... I haven't eaten in years...

I am told I am an autonomous human being, in charge of my own destiny, a free man, but every single time Hasan Piker has said something and I have heard about it, it has been against my will

I try to use LLMs to revise my stuff and it strips out all the quirky awkward spice of human writing set in its ways. It's fuggin horrible.

I can't even use LLMs, my writing style is distinct enough people could tell which other parody accounts I ran on Twitter

Our two microblogging sites are the "relitigate Hitler" site and the "relitigate Stalin" site. One wonders what they're doing over on Threads.

There's a huge difference between "we're in a genuinely important moment" and using apocalypse-coded language for marketing, some skepticism and scorn is warranted, but I'd just advise non-experts to pump the breaks before correcting practitioners who say their field is being reshaped

I can tell you our vulnerability management team and Infosec leadership takes it seriously as something that is going to alter the landscape in ways – and we're just going to have to handle that.

Me using both "need" and the softer "probably aren't advisably ready to abandon" did not help in my post 😅

I've sat near product security, cryptography, threat intelligence, directory, red team, hell the CISO for awhile. We used to have a big bullpen of junior staff intermingling and watching events unfold in a war-room next to them. Kinda really sucks, it's largely senior staff in the office now.
