They’re playing the 7th this evening at the cathedral. Seeing family in Bridgend so not sure I’ll make it. 7&9 are my faves.

I have since become something of a lapsed Baptist
And of course Dylan posed the question “God said to Abraham kill me a son … where do you want this killing done?”
I got an A for RE O level!
I had to check Isiah 61 was from the bible and not just a Quentin Tarantino movie
Glorious
We were away? The Mrs was watching a docu-drama about the dangers of social media last night? Coincidence?
Good one
Hail, rain, sunshine, wind all in the space of a fifteen minute walk. Drying off now
It may be a cliche but Köln Concert is one my fave bits of plastic
Not heard this. Music for 18 Musicians is one my fave things if all time.
Have enjoyed decades of finding this band’s musical and lyrical influences. From Bowie to Black Sabbath and a certain Mr Reed.
I saw JD on telly and the heard them on Peel. Went looking for this album in WH Smiths and got strange looks. went to the stall upstairs in the market and thumbed the stack. I saw the sleeve and knew it was the album even though I hadn’t seen it before and of course there is no clue on the front.

Zappa is best when Shuts Up and Plays His Guitar or bongo fury
When I was using desk top sequencing to accompany my songs, I made a cassette album “In the Moog”. Years later I found out it doesn’t rhyme with mood but vogue. Sequencing, filthy habit.
Cage would say the lorry was part of the performance!
I bought a s/h copy much later with fold out but I only got a tenner for it!
Aw, go on, you know you want to!
I have a Rafat CD and sing along “bust a duster and put the hoover round”. Awesome.
Oh yeah, baby. Jeff Buckley said Nusrat was his Elvis but not heard either sing Blue Suede Shoes.
I went to Jeff Buckley in 1993 as I knew his dad’s music. A little basement cafe in Leicester Square. My jaw just dropped at him singing this song.
Is there a hell-hound on his trail?
After all the post punk gothic schtick, Johnny Marr’s guitar was a revolution and Morrisey didn’t take himself too seriously either. I saw them a couple of times but we don’t need to mention the solo stuff do we?
Another Brick is the only Floyd song I can tolerate and that’s the guitar solo!
I love the muscularity of the arrangements
