Australians are obsessed with SUVs and huge utes, but experts say they are making our roads deadlier About 60% of the 1.2m cars that drove out of the showroom last year were SUVs, but road fatalities reached a 12-year high too

The South Coast of NSW is really such a stunning place, and the weather this past weekend was lovely for the first day of autumn, too.

Melbourne's laneways really are fantastic, and on a warmish summer night have so much atmosphere.

And the restaurants and food are great too!

No you wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of deaths even if COVID and the flu were peaking.

None of those either, but I managed to spend all my yen except for one solitary 10 yen coin.

Sadly, I didn't get any 100 yen coins other than the bog standard ones. 😔

There are a lot of things that piss me off about the Americanisation of our culture but I think that pronounce ‘tu’ words (such as tuna) like ‘too’ instead of ‘choo’ is one of the worst.

What are these Ford AU Falcons doing in Hong Kong… as taxis? There's nothing more Australian than an AU Falcons, so what are they doing in Hong Kong?

How odd to see an AU Ford Falcon dressed up in full Hong Kong island taxi livery!

Well that's quite a description of your blocklist, and never mind that I'm not a "Democrat" since I'm Australian, and I challenge anybody to find anything that I've posted that would make me a "genocide enthusiast" either.

My very last film of 2024 was the absolutely astonishing performance by Angelina Jolie as Maria Callas in the biopic about the last part of her life.

And Angelina Jolie trained in opera for six months to sing the older Maria! 🤯

She's sure to be nominated for an Oscar.

2025 Mazda 2 price and specs: Manual dead, base price up Mazda Australia has dropped the manual Mazda 2 as part of a range restructure that increases the base price by over $4000.

Sad that another manual that was available new has bitten the dust, also because the Mazda 2 was a fun little car in manual.
