Now I have my own popper and my kid loves it when I make popcorn for him as well. Recently, my grandpa brought down for me (he lives out of state) the popcorn salt that he’s always used and I just made a batch for my oldest. Tasted just how Papaw made it.

Some of my fondest memories as a child were when my Papaw (grandfather) made popcorn for us. He had one of those tin buckets that you put on a stove and turned a handle while the kernels heated and we’d sit and watch some of our favorite shows, like M.A.S.H or Abbott and Costello.
