I grew up a very sheltered Jew and didn’t understand how all of these people who believed in Jesus somehow were not the same thing.

He did accomplish one thing. Operation get them to talk about anything else is in a success in his mind. Death and destruction is a small price to pay just as long as we are no longer mentioning “Jeffrey Epstein”.

It isn’t *necessarily* a bad thing. But too often people revise their personal history to escape criticism or blame for past behavior or decisions. I think the term is most often used in this regard which is why it’s viewed in a negative connotation.
