3-0/6-0 at my Secrets of Strixhaven sealed Prerelease last night!

Dissection Practice and Quill-Blade Laureate did work, while Moment of Reckoning won turned the tide in almost every game. This set seems great, excited to draft it in the future!

On a little 2 streak, I'm really enjoying figuring out The Regent.

I like Gamma Blast; I like Bulwark; Gather Light puts in work to make the deck function. This one was able to get Seven Stars working before I picked up Void Form. Big 0 Star Cards with aggressive defense seems to be a good path.

Keeping the forging incidental to like the blocks and the power that makes it hit everything felt right. Very lucky seed with my relics though.

This one felt really good. Orbit seems really important to maintain momentum since all his stuff is pretty resource hungry. 2 upgraded Orbits really went for it. Same with Bombardment, they trigger the orbits well then are just free damage for the rest of the encounter.

I've had a couple runs with regent where I really thought I was on the right track (forge build with falling star this time) only to crash out on the first elite in act 3.

Third act is really punishing this time around.

while the finish line lands are funny I think you're on the right track here :D

So far my bet Regent runs have something to do with Void Form. Seeing that in act 1 is a solid build around combining efficient defense and star economy.

I'm running through each one and am currently on the Necrobinder. So far the regent and necro are very fun, really interesting characters. I'll be curious how they get balanced as we go along

I was hitting my personal best silent runs on the train to SCG Portland; hundreds of hours of value from STS. 2 is going to eat me alive.

This one's called a Singleton Handjob - it's a DanDan/Highlander adjacent format dominated by hand manipulation spells that hopefully lead to a satisfying climax.

My Zendikar Rising cube gets a change after every draft and while the set itself is a little vanilla to play with the additions are starting to turn it into a pretty interesting cube and the locals love the idea.

I don't think you need to apologize for the cube being a Coldsnap cube.

Coldsnap is sweet! I was just browsing the cardlist and half the set is cards that sparked imagination for EDH construction in 2010. Early EDH ran on Coldsnap and I think using it as the inspiration for a cube is just great.
