The more self-sufficient you are, the easier you can shrug off external threats.
The flip-side is that self-sufficiency is hard work.
Yeah, I would expect bullet wounds to be distributed evenly over the body, given their inaccuracy, including legs and arms, whereas the bayonet would target more vital areas.

The recordings during Covid were a godsend. On 1.5x speed and with liberal use of pause, I could watch a 60 minute lecture in about 2 hours.
As a current (adult) student, I don't know how people find time to take notes during a lecture.
You need to:
1. listen to everything, it might be important,
2. integrate with what was said earlier,
3. summarize,
4. write,
5. check your notes.
Doing 3 & 4 kills my ability to do 1, let alone 2.
Even with a plan it might end up like s2e9 of Arcane, which apparently had 2x the material and ended up quite fast paced.
