Last year, some councillors tried to infringe on our Charter rights and freedoms by attempting to ban protests and pickets across the city.
The vote was close, but we organized and won. Help protect our Charter freedoms again: www.progresstoronto.ca/petition-pro...

Could restrictions on protests and pickets amount to a ban in nearly every neighbourhood?
A bylaw limiting our freedoms could affect communities across the city. Take action: www.progresstoronto.ca/petition-pro...
We're seeing unprecedented attacks on the freedom to protest south of the border, with protesters being arrested and deported. As we protect Canada’s sovereignty from Trump, we must also defend our Charter rights and freedoms.

City Council is considering a bylaw that could limit our Charter-protected right to protest.
With Trump attacking Canada’s sovereignty and protest rights in the U.S., we must defend our Canadian rights and freedoms.

In the 2025 Budget libraries are set to open 7 days per week at ALL branches across the city. Right now many libraries aren’t open on Sundays.
But conservatives want to keep libraries closed to save a buck.

For decades TTC fares have risen beyond inflation. Now we can freeze fares to save riders money and encourage more transit use.
But conservatives want to increase fares and balance the budget on the backs of riders. Take action against fare increases: www.progresstoronto.ca/no-cuts-no-f...
Alt text: Purple background with an image of yellow and black apple. There also is a tray of food. Top text is white text and reads "Save school meals". Bottom right corner is a logo of Progress Toronto.
As families struggle to access food, conservatives want to cut school meals that would feed over 21,500 children.
These programs ensure students are fed, helping them learn. They also save families time and money.
Sign our petition to say no to cuts: www.progresstoronto.ca/no-cuts-no-f...
Take action: Conservative councillors are working hard to increase TTC fares, cut library hours, and cut school meals from 21,500 hungry students across the city.

While progress is underway to create new shelters, opposition from certain politicians and anti-shelter advocates threatens to stall these efforts.
Call on your elected official to support the City’s shelter infrastructure plan using our petition tool: www.progresstoronto.ca/petition-tac...
New shelter locations have been chosen based on need, access to transit and services, & other evidence.
Homelessness exists in every corner of Toronto. No neighbourhood should be “off limits” for shelters.
Shelters belong in our communities. Take action: www.progresstoronto.ca/petition-tac...
In addition to a warm bed, shelters can connect people with healthcare, community, and support to find permanent housing.
While we need more affordable and supportive housing, shelters are vital to tackling the homelessness crisis now.
Send your message: www.progresstoronto.ca/petition-tac...
Take action: It's getting colder and each night 230 people are turned away from shelters with nowhere to go.
The City plans to open 20 new shelters but some politicians and shelter opponents want to block them.

Why do conservatives want to start a right-wing version of Progress Toronto?
Because together we make it harder for them to win. With a small budget and many volunteers, we let voters know the truth about conservative candidates.
