pick an Xbox story, any Xbox story; pick a site, any site; and:

I'd pivot to editing, but barely anyone can write, and the people who can write don't write
great time to be a writer — barely anyone can read, and the people who can read don't read
DOOM is not worth it DIABLO is not worth it BETHESDA STUFF is not worth it OBSIDIAN STUFF is not worth it NOTHING IS WORTH IT
the state of things (or of me) is that I can't spend five minutes on here without the curmudgeon meter spiking and forcing me to close out for my own sanity
I am not at all tuned into streamers, but have nonetheless been extremely loyal to FightinCowboy since this:

i think it's the nudge I need to finally get into Dead Cells in earnest (game should be a no-brainer for me, but I've had a weirdly tough time diving in)
Thrilled to kick off a stacked @bpmonthly.bsky.social issue on Marathon. I wrote about the resonance of Runners, live-service players, and SteamDB numbers.
