Who says I've stopped any of them?

A bluesky account that is showing as both blocked and blocking.
I guess the account also blocks anyone that blocks it?
On the bright side, 2 days at home waiting for a doorbell
In today's podcast episode we have a light discussion about the effect of board games on dopamine and share some games that trigger those little dopamine hits of happiness.

7 years is crazy. I implement accounting software for a living and we migrate most customers in a few months, sometimes a few weeks.
That's a nice list of snappy, enjoyable games there. Revisiting Arcs was my highlight this week
Oh god. I had the opposite reaction
I found Speakeasy is "heavier" than UM. It felt tighter with at least as many rules that made it harder for me to enjoy. UM at least felt forgiving
@dnlnwmn.bsky.social is the 2015 release year for Fluffy Rite on BGG a typo?

I was thinking the same, but it's probably a combo of that and a few other things: playing without knowing the rules, people rating things higher to justify the expense to themselves (free is easier to downgrade), not having a friend hyping it up at the table, less engaged async, no tactility
This is one I was originally interested in and then I heard some bad reviews and haven't thought about it much since. Curious to see what you think
Amen
"Decide to change the name" at some point in the future before publication, forcing a new bgg entry
Lacerda week
Have you tried Pandora's Legacy? Wife and I had a great week with that one recently.
Oh, so he's also a serial killer, got it
Huge shout out to @petewiss.bsky.social and our guests for facilitating a wonderful conversation about a game that deserves a deep dive as much as any game does.
And that doesn't count games I own, but haven't played my physical copy. No idea how many more that would be, but my guess is it would get me closer to 200.

Good answer
It was never really about the remote waterfall, but the multiple non-remote waterfalls you saw along the way.
I love my monthly BMG meet up. Glad to see it expand
In-line examples might flow better and be less "skipable". But we also tend to give ourselves the benefit of the doubt that we're smart enough to understand what we're reading and don't need "help", so it's also probably a bit of a narcissim thing...
Maybe you need a clippy to make it seem more fun
Joking aside, can you share what one page of your rulebook looks like that includes one? In a more finished book, I like the idea of having a character look like they're talking to the reader directly - maybe with comic book style bubbles
Staple cookies or candy to that section or maybe make it a pop up book
