Yeah! I've almost got it done: I'll have a spinning version ready in a day or two. Should be pretty wild
Thanks! I'm painting it for a challenge where the assignment was to capture the emotion in the eyes, so happy to hear it's coming across!
Thank you! Since you mention it, this guy is actually one half of a duel: his opponent should be coming along in a couple/few days here to complete the deadly tale
Thanks!
Thanks! I actually ended up having a eureka moment painting these ones where it spontaneously dawned on me: if you're not afraid to paint stripes on it, any tentacle can be a Beetlejuice sandworm tentacle haha
Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah, since basically all plague marines have that horns-breaking-through thing, it's a nice place to sneak in a little decorative freehand without getting crazy
Thanks! I painted one of these guys a few years back and did some paint crimes: trying to sweat the small stuff and redeem myself a bit on this one haha
Thanks!
Thanks! And keep going! For me, sometimes the bigger scale models are actually harder because I have an impulse to try to cram even more detail haha
Thanks! Everyone knows the old saying that people only really look at the faces and the weapons so I really try to bring the BIG DRAMA whenever one of these little dudes has his helmet off haha
Yeah--thanks! For me it's good to practice on these Terminators because all the trim is so huge it's easy to see the volumes and less guess work about where the light would fall, etc
Thanks!
Yeah buddy: from the new "Murderwing" Kill Team. Kinda like warp talons but super fancy. Oversize jump packs as far as the eye can see haha
Thanks!
Thanks! I did the talons in the same style. I should be wrapping this guy up in a day or two and I plan to post a spinny pic of the whole effect
