my tip w drawing with your fingers is to push your thumb against the side/underside of the tip of your pointer/middle finger, and to keep the pressure on your pointer finger to hold it steady, that way you don't have to press down as hard which makes for unsteady contact imo

Insurance finally made a decision. They estimated 15k worth of damage and repairs need to be done. My claim only covers up to 10. So they pay that out, wipe their hands of it and I'm left to figure everything else out myself.
