anyone read Deep End by Ali Hazelwood? how much of a "sports romance" is it? i am trying to choose between several options for next month's romance book club, and i'd like one that has a decent amount of sport in it, to be true to the spirit of the theme.

these last two i haven't quite finished yet, but i'm enjoying them both so much that i wanted to give them a shout. SAPLING CAGE has some of the coolest witches i've seen in a while, and FINE is pretty darn fascinating. thus we close another #transrightsreadathon, and i'm off to do my donating.

a much lighter pick for #transrightsreadathon, wonderfully fun and silly. it's giving KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE energy, about which i never complain. i read this to fit my romance book club theme, secret identities, but i wasn't expecting to be so charmed by the MC and his lovely, quirky friend group.

another #transrightsreadathon that'd been on my list awhile! my first McLemore, actually, which is kinda wild. the descriptions in this are so artistic, loved the way the magical realism tied into the characters' emotional journeys. also, always excited when @vico-ortiz.bsky.social is narrating.

i've been meaning to read OLD WOUNDS forever, and it totally lived up to expectations. love the weird tension between the MCs and the complexity of their bond, love the horror movie tropes, love the mystery creature.

I keep wanting to do a publication order read through of all her books, I just need to let go of the idea of trying to fit them all in one year.

i read it ages ago, it's neat! the more generic fantasy/Tolkien ripoffs you've read, the funnier it is. i really wish i'd read Dark Lord of Derkholm right after, i think that would have enhanced the experience.
