I just feel we may be lowering our expectations a bit based on how bad last year was. We are apparently the second richest club in the world so I would suggest there is still a distinct possibility that this ends up being an underwhelming season. If we finish strong it could be very successful

My strong suspicion is he planned to go last year if it had gone reasonably well, but when the season fell apart, he didn't want to leave the club at such a low.
