I loved how it established that the things we loved about ANH were universal and not tied to specific characters. I loved how it introduced us to those characters, too!

went to bookcon as ryland grace today and i made a quick and dirty rocky to carry around and he’s such a star!! people kept yelling AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE at my back 😂

it was! it's one of my favorite of his films. he always gives every role his best but ANNETTE made him stretch his skills in totally different ways

and thank you! color was such an important element of the storytelling, & the DoP's work was SO stunning, I just had to do all 9 of my Henry's in color

I learned how to use an entirely new-to-me technique specifically so I could get the colors exactly how I wanted them. I know ANNETTE isn't for everyone but IMO it's one of his best films.

I am delighted to know that! it's a special joy to know my art is on someone's wall 💕

Excited to attend the ribbon-cutting for the next segment of California’s solar canal initiative later this month in Hickman. Imagine generating solar power over 4,000 miles or so canals across the state. A lot of Sierra and Colorado River water to save via avoided evaporation.

I love that my parents kept this terrible photo of our cat Mr Goldilocks, from 1961, even though it's a terrible picture and all he's doing is just standing there.

I bet @catsofyore.bsky.social will agree.

(Mr G was MY cat. I named him before they discovered it was a boy kitty.)
