Hell yeah! Love those bike colors, too.

You think everyone calls him four eyes?
Weird thing that I really love. When I am cold but I get in my car that has been sitting in the sun getting all hot inside like a little sauna.
I'm eating at an Indian buffet and two college students walked in, went right to the buffet, looked for a minute and walked out. Didn't say a word to anyone.
Smh, this is misinformation. Here are actual bike gas prices.
I'm less bothered by the age of the quote than I am by the fact that what is written in the post just isn't what he said. Removing whole sentences and changing "don't believe the Torah" to "refuse to believe the Torah" changes the quote significantly.
If you don't know this if from 2018 and you share it, you need to put your phone down, maybe find a movie to watch or something. If you can't stop and contextualize what you share you are just a cog in some other person's campaign. First rule of sharing media: know where and when. Or don't share.
Someone else in the quotes said it was from 2018. I haven't checked that out yet.
Sounded to me like he's saying "Palestinians think this is their land, but Jews think it's theirs because of the Torah. Therefore, US must support Israel 100%" which is also just silly.
Not defending Schumer here, but what is quoted in the post is very different from what he actually said.
Yeah, I've found that saying hello, or finding a way to just make some noise works best over all. Anything else might be interpreted as rude or hostile. Especially if you're trying to keep a little speed.
I knew a rando rider who rode his recumbent in SPD sandals. He may have even worn the sandals doing Paris-Brest-Paris.

Ring a bell instead of saying "on your left."
Say "on your left" instead of ringing a bell.
It's such an odd post to "dunk" on, too. You, and many others, regularly say things that are "meaner" to drivers.
Great thread on something cyclists encounter a lot that you might not think about at all if you don't ride a bike or only on paths.
Lately I've been trying to find the way to teach my daughter about these things without ruining the fun of our rides.

Yesterday while disassembling a bunk bed i wasn't thinking and one side fell over onto me. I thought I was super lucky that there was a space between supports and that's where most of my body was. However, based on mh recurring headaches, I think I may have been hit harder than I realized.
A good and productive person would realize they're being delayed in moving into their new apartment and use that time to finish packing things up. Or perhaps go into work instead of taking the day off. Or even just relaxing and enjoying the day. I can't decide and am sort of doing each...poorly.
Focker-in-Law release date: Returning cast, trailer and latest news for reboot Ariana Grande has joined the cast for the upcoming fourth film in the comedy franchise here's everything you need to know.
There is absolutely nothing I need to know about this movie
I'm generally very inclined to see the best in people and to give multiple chances and allow for growth (even at 41) but that doesn't really extend to supporting them as a U.S. Senator. Maybe be the County Assessor or something.
How did your bike enrich your life, fix your finances, or change your family's daily routine?
A Stanford study showed stories are 22x more memorable than facts. If we want to get people out of cars, throwing emissions stats at them won't cut it.
Humans need stories. Tell me yours. 👇
And, even as I've gone back to driving more, I've still kept the lessons I learned from cycling and talking to cyclists. I'm a safer, more conscientious driver, and I'm more willing and eager to consider walking, riding, or taking the bus places and passing that on to my kids.
Started cycling when car free overseas. Came back home and kept it up. Social group rides really helped connect me to people and bike commuting allowed my family to have 1 car for a while. Life led to the diminishing of cycling for me, but I'm working on making it more routine again.
I took yesterday and today off work to move apartments. My place was supposed to be ready Tuesday afternoon, it's now Thursday morning and I'm waiting for them to clean it properly. I could go to work today and move over the weekend, but I think I'll ride my bike instead.

Do any of my friends here have a recommendation for a semi-decent CD player with Bluetooth? Bigger/better than a boombox, but not a full on stereo system where every part needs to be bought separately.
No way. Like just out on the street cruisin?
We need ejection seats for anyone who hits "reply all" to an email sent to a whole corporation or, in my case, every state employee. And something worse for anyone who replies all with "Stop replying all!"
Years ago I left the credit union i was with because they were structuring payments and deposits so there would be more overdraft fees. My current bank is much better. I think they don't even charge a fee if you get positive within a few days.
