Once again, Grand Rapids Police get away with murder, making it more likely they will do it again. I'm so sick right now. Face down with a dog on him and it's a justified murder?

"Democrats running in competitive primaries have found a new, potent attack against their opponents: ties to #Palantir, the large data management company that is helping the Trump admin track and deport undocumented immigrants."
Why didn't they stop him before he tore the east wing down? So much history lost.

The unique piece of this data breach is that workers on this platform do video recorded interviews and it's unclear if the data breach includes these files. This opens up a whole new layer of identity fraud.
Data workers — particularly if you’ve ever done work on Mercor — please read the post below and get connected to @turkopticon.bsky.social!

It's all built on stolen intellectual property, that's like saying you would not rule out a store where all the items for sale were stolen from people's homes.

We’re a coalition of 50+ organizations challenging the power of Amazon: the corporation posing the single greatest threat to our economy and democracy today. The company is a symptom of billionaires hoarding wealth and power at everyone else’s expense.

I'm a dataworker who spends a lot of time on red teaming and various other AI quality checks and today it just hit me.
Real life is so much chaos. AI is never going to be able to mimic that.

“Screenshot of a promoted Reddit post by u/AYAGDOS. The post reads: ‘Navigating gender dysphoria? Join our confidential, cross-country study of 18–25 year olds to tell your story, challenge preconceptions, and have YOUR experience reflected in the science.’ Below is a banner graphic with the Northwestern University logo and the text ‘TRANS OR GENDERQUEER? SHARE YOUR STORY.’ The image shows a close-up of a hand with light pink nail polish, partially painted blue, held up against a blurred background. A link to ayagdos.org and a ‘Learn More’ button appear at the bottom, along with Reddit vote and share icons.”
If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.

When cities and schools buy supplies from Amazon, they think they're getting good deals. @ilsr.bsky.social has a new report showing how many of them are getting ripped off instead.
Hey, Michigan, if you haven't seen this yet, House republicans just canceled $645m in state funding with no oversight. Some of the funding cut wasn't even State level, it was federal funds. WTF.
