Is a well intentioned debate. What this person is asking for is for another poc to leave the community. Instead of engaging with me privately they decided to start a flame war and ignite anger.

I am not denying the harm done. I am being honest with my thoughts. How I said the words back then were wrong, ill mannered and racist. Even I as a Bipoc can make mistakes and clearly have done so.

Do I still have growing to do. Yes rightfully so. But I also don't believe that any of this

Said conversation happened about a year ago, per the timestamps on those messages, and it was an important moment of growth and learning. And I should note it only happened because I came to the defense of a former friend, Mariah, after she and the people I spoke with butted heads on orientalism.

So, leaving out the fact that these screenshots are hiding more context of that conversation: these were written in a moment of anger and frustration, and afterwards I actively talked with the people being referenced in a private voice call so we could settle our issues and come to an understanding.
