I also bought a new co-op board game called Paleo, in which you try to keep your prehistoric tribe alive and help them advance.

I played Zoo King, Once Upon a Time, Splendor, Star Wars Unlimited, Martian Dice, Rolling America and Forest Shuffle. I learned to play Underwater Cities, Wings of Glory, Thunder Road, Kariba and Disney Villains (card game, different from Villainous).
I went to the DunDraCon game convention in Santa Clara this weekend and had a great time!
I went to a free smash room event Saturday night near me in exchange for donating a coat. I've never been to one before but it was fun. I tried out a VR room and ax-throwing with tomahawks, hatchets and knives. The rage rooms were closed for a photo shoot, though.
I ordered a rolling cart for carrying games back & forth at conventions. It went together really easily and flattens pretty well if needed, too.
Apparently there is a Smash Room place very close to me with a rage room, axe-throwing and virtual reality escape rooms. And they are having free admission Saturday night if you donate an old coat.
I moved the games from my closet to the newly repainted game room and organized them in the closet! New table & newly refurbished chairs coming soon, plus another bookcase for the roleplaying books I am using.
I'm all set up to go to the DunDraCon game convention in Santa Clara in February! I went last year for the first time in several years and had a lot of fun. ๐
My dog Lily uses buttons to "talk" - you can find videos of online of Bunny, Copper and other dogs using them. I finally got her new set of buttons put together in the living room. Her old set it still in the bedroom.
My new oak bookshelves in the library/future guest room! Now moving and shelving lots of books!
The lower levels will be the catacombs, dungeons, workshops, mines & so forth beneath the citadel, going down 10 or more levels eventually. Each level corresponds to the average level of the party for encounters.
I am working on the map for the first level of my megadungeon using Dungeon Scrawl. These are the ruins of the collapsed citadel of an evil wizard overthrown centuries ago. I'm still working on the upper right.
I have 20 shelves now but I am already short of shelf space for the books I have.
I ordered two sets of oak bookshelves for the library I'm creating in one of my spare bedrooms. Thirty shelves, plus 10 more in the living room to display my favorite books. That should last awhile. ๐
I finally went ahead and signed up for Dungeon Scrawl, an online D&D dungeon mapping app, and began working on the map for my mega-dungeon in progress. I was just hitting a wall where I really needed a map to finish creating the first level. Really happy with the app and map so far.
I'm replaying Batman: Arkham Asylum, which I never finished, although I'm not quite to the point where I stopped last time. I also want to play some more Battle Brothers & work on building a stronger team - I'm reaching a point where there are a lot of fights I just can't handle.
Hi Doc! Have fun at KublaCon, I'm not going to this one but I'll be at DunDraCon.
I have dived back in to Battle Brothers, which I really enjoy. It's a sandbox computer game where you run a mercenary company in a medieval dark fantasy world, with undead & some monsters. It's pretty tough, though, expect to lose a lot of soldiers or entire companies until you get the hang of it.
Hi! Welcome to my BlueSky account. I'll be using this for screenwriting, gaming, writing & other personal posts from now on. Sorry there's not a lot to see yet.
