There's the part at the start of ch2 where Ralsei stays in castle town with Susie while Kris leaves to clear the things out of the classroom. If this were true, I think he would have been inexplicably beamed away in front of Susie as soon as Kris left.

That's not true either. Jerry is no different than any other standard monster, and you can spare or flee any standard monster and stay on the geno route. There are very few monsters you actually have to kill, and most of them are special encounters.

One trick I've used for console games captured at upscaled but blurry resolutions is to downscale the source to the console's original resolution first (using a filter) and then upscale the source with Area scale filtering to the size you need. There are still some artifacts, but it's way better.

That's definitely not what I said. I said it would be weird to start an ARG with the current relatively small amount of bonus content instead of the main Spamton Sweepstakes event. Both built up to the game's release, but there was significantly more attention on the main event than there is now.

Maybe you're right, but it would be weird timing to start an ARG now compared to when Spamton Sweepstakes first released. I would have guessed that the page was another puzzle, since they don't validate that you're the owner of the email you entered, but the form was taken down/disconnected already.
