Project in brief: pre–post study during the 2024 state elections (Saxony, Thuringia, Brandenburg). 🗳️ We examined how marginalization experiences relate to acceptance to political violence, and discussed implications with policymakers, politicians and professionals from political foundations.
Last week I attended the @komrex-unijena.bsky.social dialogue forum on how insights from the 2024 election study can foster democratic culture. With @marlenevoit.bsky.social and @vbojarskich.bsky.social, we shared results on voter marginalization and acceptance of political violence. It was great!
In our first studies, we show that #minimalcues (e.g., voice, body language) shape perceptions of #vulnerability in male targets. More on the link between vulnerability and #victimblaming coming soon!
