@peterfrankopan.bsky.social I just want to say, there isn't a day I don't think about your book "Silk Roads." And I read it about 7 years ago.

What would you tell law students today about how to prepare for this very uncertain and unprecedented time?

Really? Those line graphics light up to indicate the next stop. What line were you on? I lived in NYC 15 years ago, and the changes are jarring to me! The subway ride was a whole nother thing before smart phones--I miss those adventures.

Actually, it was only a matter of time until the commons came up and efficient algorithm that rivals #AI incumbent, as we have today in the news about #DeepSeek. Could out AI titans be anything if they hadn't always been monitoring and taking from open source?

Interesting post by the announced new FTC nominee from earlier this last June. Spells lots of trouble for Big Tech to come. "He drafted a bill for Lee that would have forced the breakup of Google’s ad tech business" news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/...

I made my own videos already; mine aren't nearly as impressive as the library of videos they have. I'm thinking prompting for video generation takes a skill that will take me a bit to master.

I did take screenwriting in college though, so I guess that's a start.

THE NON-OBVIOUS RAZOR & GENERATIVE AI This Article examines the challenges and prospects of crowd‑sourcing generative artificial intelligence (“GenAI”) systems in patent law as human and machine creativity become seamless. As GenAI techno...

My co-authors and I show that the divide between human ingenuity and AI is increasingly porous, and patent law is going in a direction that doesn't match up with reality.
