Been a better of a game so far. Just about to finish the second main section and it’s been a blast
Combat reminds me a bit of TWEWY on DS, but actually doable. It flows super nicely and I can’t wait to see it expand the further I get into the game with different hacks and nodes

I think part of this is selfishly wanting to be able to support the new Layton game tbh, so I can’t help but feel like a hypocrite, even though the game doesn’t look like it’s using AI! But given Hino’s praise of it before, I hope his comments today show a change of tone?

Superbly well-crafted game. The overall mystery was compelling and even creepy, and combined with three ‘actual’ films it gives Immortality a unique vibe
Closest I’ve had to something like this would be 13 Sentinels, with a grander narrative that you piece together like a jigsaw. What I’m liking about Immortality is that it really feels like *you* are doing the work getting each new clip, as basic of a process it may be
I’m getting PROPER into this game now, what a neat game
Having a good time piecing together the movies, but trying to deduce what’s going on behind the scenes is quite an adventure in of itself. Can’t wait to untangle it all

Pacing, especially the final moments, definitely suffer the most! Don’t need the craziest story, but certain threads could be expanded upon or actually develop naturally
Doesn’t need to be Oscar worthy, although it can be clear storytelling isn’t this team’s strong suit lol
Galaxy movie was a nice time! Nothing substantial but a fun ride, much like the first
The biggest improvement was an actual soundtrack! Liked they did the series justice in that department

His inclusion makes sense. How much screen time is he even gonna have though? And if it’s a decent amount to justify a poster, what does that say about other characters in what already seems like a lightning-paced movie?
It’s pretty neat that Fox is in the Mario movie, but who is that poster for, really? Nintendo fans are already gonna see it, Fox is not gonna draw in a new audience either. Feels quite weird to just announce it less than a week before its release!
