Info about an account sharing viral video of the moon saying it’s Artemis 2 but it’s not, and that account is blocking people who point it out
Just in case folks miss this due to the block

Picure of the Moon dwarfed by the Earth behind it with a faint Death Star image added by me over the Moon (original image NASA / NOAA / Ian Regan)
uh... that's no moon
multiple fascist/fundamentalist organizations and governments were launched by hearing jazz once
Astronauts can see both the Moon and the Earth at the same time from Window 3.
In about 1 hour and 40 minutes, we’ll be getting this view.

this is the moment when V tells us it’s up to us to decide whether we want to be free or not.
My favorite new Claude Code feature is when I can see the time for an action ticking up but the token usage is static and the timer is over 15 minutes because I told it to save the markdown file to a different folder than it suggested.
So sorry you're also at capacity. Hugs to you too.
The Special Editions were chock full of scenes that were added in or modified to deliver dialog that had already been delivered less than 5 minutes prior or that they felt needed to take twice as long to get through.
I am dead serious when I say that line change made me equally as mad as Greedo shooting first.
The voice acting from James Earl Jones is amazing. The anger and fatigue in the voice are clear. He's PISSED that his plan didn't work.
Lucas changes it to a bored "Alert my star destroyer to prepare for my arrival."
Emotional infusion removed. Sterile. Stupid.

Going to take this opportunity to be "That Guy" and not follow the prompt because I want to talk about the worst line change from the Special Editions, which was in Empire when Vader, tired and disappointed, says "Bring my shuttle."

Right? Not the normal, "Shit I had a month's worth of stuff to talk about but it's getting wiped out by needing to talk about Thing From Yesterday" but just a series of Things That Happened Yesterday for a solid week.
To wit:
- Kids have been home on Spring Break all week
- 6yo face-planted in the street and tore up his face
- Dad is back in the hospital with 3 different problems
- Someone close to me was s. assaulted
- Niece had her identity stolen
- *gestures at the world*
- I am out of Hampden Estate Rum
Sending an email to my therapist about our upcoming appt and getting to say "I'm feeling overwhelmed and anxious at extreme levels - but at least I know why!" is kind of neat. Normally it's either "things are fine" or "everything feels like it's on fire and the fire is on fire and I don't know why"
I know some pretty smart people and often they write really smart things

I've had the same issue. It's so screwy

Oh my god, vegan pepper jack made from nuts is a fruit salad.
I've had enough universe for a bit. Can we pause it and come back to it later?
Technically peppers are fruits.
Dawg my fascist murderer pedophile president isn’t even funny on television anymore. It’s never been more over
I'd say my grocery costs are about the same. I could look them up but I'd guess overall not up more than maybe a couple %age points at the most for our common stuff.
We don't buy meat so if that's up I wouldn't know since my MAGA neighbor hassn't complained about meat prices since the election.
please please please do yourself a favor and watch this it is amazing
Seeing this and then the post from someone saying they just got blocked over a post about matzah right below it is why the Internet is amazing
If anything, part of the problem with the robot is that it burns your own cash to tell you you're smart.
When work started requiring its use, one of the first things I did was put in instructions to stop telling me I'm smart.
My personal take is that this is a combination of "fits my 'the federal govt is evil' narrative" and a potential fig leaf over racism which honestly just shines a bigger light on the racism.
This is how I grew up. My "Vote Red Lest Ye Be Dead" dad would talk about affirmative action being evil and discrimination being bunk, and then U-turn with no brakes into lecturing about the evil of the native genocide
feels like 7-2 loss for trump is fully baked in at this point but even those 2 (likely) votes for trump are in themselves a fucking crisis
The Republicans keep saying that birthright is "not" the norm, but it IS the norm in the New World. It's not the norm in, like, Luxemborg.
