Really need some sort of blu collection of these.
YES PLEASE
White Fire theme song is an all-timer.
Better late than never.
I thought that was Helen Mirren on the poster so I’m going for her. Or Judi Dench.
Film no.13. A guy gets kicked in the dick so hard he has a flashback to a past life.
Film no.12. Sonically terrifying slow British 70s horror.
Film no.11 Not quite up there with Phantasm but it treads similar ground around grief with hints of the surreal and the fantastic. A journey to a hellscape in another dimension precedes a bleak ending that the film doesn’t quite have the guts to pull off.
Film no.10 Ninja 3: Possessed swords and gym clothes. Sweaty workouts and floating telephones.
Film No.9 Peter Fonda pisses off some satanists. Hell on wheels.
Film no.8 repressed desires and jump scares still have the power to shock.
Film no.7 Lam Nai-Choi follows up Story of Ricky with the story of an alien cat trying to return home. You’ll never see anything like this ever again.
Film no.6 Evil Dead 2, told through the music of Elvis. Presley, not Costello: it’s not Oliver’s Army of Darkness.
Film no.5 Hands of Steel meets I Walked With A Zombie. But more boring than that sounds.
Genuinely the greatest documentary the BBC have ever made - THE LAST LIGHTHOUSE - am utterly thrilled it's now on youtube. youtu.be/bc9qxyf_suI?...
Someone needs to clean this up and release a bluray btw. @arrowvideo.bsky.social @88films.bsky.social ??
Film no.4 Vic and Bob’s Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Film no.3 ancient Irish vampires. Nice bit of folklore and some effectively chilling visuals whenever the vampire is near.
Film no.2 Ferrara’s take is full of invasive tendrils and suffocating repression of individuality.
Film no.1 of Halloween/October 2025. No budget Italian horror that wants to be Fulci but isn’t creative or gory enough.
TODAY IS THE ONLY DAY YOU CAN REPOST THIS!!!
My Blobby Valentine. Is this a thing?
