Snow in April?
Families in NY23 need to keep warm and be able to afford their energy bills.
Energy independence, and options, is just smart policy we can all cozy up to.

Lake Effect Change just endorsed our campaign!
They pointed to something simple. We show up, listen, & we focus on the issues that matter to people.
In a moment when too much politics is about noise & personal attacks, we are building something different. Grounded. Focused. Community-first.

It's National Garlic Day!
Good food starts local. And the best garlic grows right here in NY-23!
Let's show some thanks to our garlic growers today!

Thank you for the work you do.
Like, follow, share, and tag a lineman or someone in the field who deserves recognition.

Across our district, these are the people who help bring life back to normal. Keeping families safe. Keeping small businesses running. Keeping communities connected.
That work is not easy, and it should not be taken for granted.
Today, we recognize the linemen who keep NY-23 running.
A bold, patriotic-style graphic with layered red, white, and blue ribbon shapes displaying the words “National Lineman Appreciation Day” in large, cream-colored lettering.
In NY-23, when storms roll through, trees come down, roads close, and power disappears for hours, sometimes days, we can always count on the linemen to show up. Every time.
In the middle of the night, they work in dangerous conditions. They climb. They repair. They restore.

Higher energy costs. Threats to water and farmland. $1.4B in subsidies to massive industries.
It is time to act.

Oversight should not be a political weapon. It should apply to everyone.
Western New York deserves consistency. Enough of the theater.

Screenshot of a Facebook post by Congressman Nick Langworthy. The post states that ActBlue is not above the law and accuses the organization of funneling large sums of money into campaigns while evading scrutiny. Below the text is an image of a formal congressional document signed by committee chairs, including Jim Jordan and James Comer, requesting materials and compliance related to an investigation into ActBlue. The post shows engagement metrics with over 300 reactions, more than 400 comments, and several shares.
Hypocrisy is not oversight.
Nick Langworthy and Republicans are targeting ActBlue while ignoring Pam Bondi’s refusal to comply with a subpoena over the Epstein files, despite a law he supported.
This is selective enforcement.
OMG! AARON GIES IS MUDSLINGING!!

We need clear standards, real consequences, and reforms that restore integrity to public service.
Public office is a responsibility, not a shield.
Share this and keep the pressure on.
There is a culture in Washington that protects power and avoids consequences, and people are fed up with it.
Accountability should be consistent, not selective. It should apply to everyone, no matter their party or position.

This is what failure looks like.
Healthcare is a necessity, not a convenience.

Why? Because Republicans in Congress, like our representative Nick Langworthy, voted to slash federal healthcare funding to pay for tax cuts for corporations and the ultra-wealthy.
Screenshot of a Buffalo News article discussing healthcare policy, stating that 450,000 to 470,000 New Yorkers could lose health insurance in July due to a federal budget bill. The text highlights impacts on low-income residents, including income eligibility limits, and notes that over 42,000 Western New York consumers were notified they would lose Essential Plan coverage.
Up to 450,000 New Yorkers are set to lose their health insurance in 3 months. Tens of thousands right here in Western New York.
Let that sink in.

But across NY-23, people are working longer hours and still falling behind. Wages are not keeping up. Costs keep rising. Too many jobs lack basic protections.
That is not a personal failure. It is an economy out of balance.

If you work hard, you should be able to pay your bills, care for your family, and still have time for your life.
That is not too much to ask.
We need honest information. Real protections. Lower everyday costs. Rules that put people first.
A good life should be affordable. And it should be understandable.

Hidden fees. Predatory lending. Fine print that drains real money from real people.
Financial literacy matters. But it is not enough by itself. People should not need expert-level knowledge just to avoid being taken advantage of.

Managing your money should not feel like a guessing game.
Too many people in NY-23 are doing everything right and still falling behind. That is not because they failed. It is because the system is too complicated and too often tilted against them.

It starts with deciding that it’s important to take care of each other.

Public Health Week ends with a basic idea:
Your health should not depend on your income or where you live.
Across NY-23, access, cost, and infrastructure all shape whether people get care. That is something we can fix.
