Stones. B. Silva. At the least City know when to let people go. Unlike Utd.

The case for/against Carrick🧵. Team data

Looking at this season's team performance metrics for games 1 - 20 under Amorim, compared to games 22 - 33 under Carrick.

What has changed and what can we predict for future performance?

Should Carrick get the job?

Some immediate reaction to the win over Chelsea.

A vital three points.

Don’t think I’ve seen couples hold each other so closely as that defender, Chalobah i think, held on to Sesko. Anyhoo.

Yea the inconsistency has made the league fun to follow this season. Can’t handle absolute domination (Germany, France, etc.). This trademark business worries me. A lot. 😅

That’s there. I’m not expecting magic - my worry is that players aren’t committing to consistency. Every team has an off day, but with us, good days seem to be the exception. The performances have tailed off since the City & Arsenal (our finest achievement this season imo) games.

That said, I do have concerns about the overall tactical acumen (Eg. Leeds) and the whether the team can keep up with the demands of competitive football over 4 competitions next season. Why the team ALWAYS looks SO disjointed is a mystery I hoped he'd solve, but it hasn't happened so far.

Michael Carrick silences growing doubters as Man Utd close in on Champions League Manchester United beat Chelsea to move closer to a Champions League return and silence the growing Michael Carrick doubters.

Considering how histrionic we fans get after a loss, Carrick really is the most sensible person to be managing the team and the fans 😅

Not sure we’re in a place to deserve a player like that. Can’t understand how we landed someone like Bruno.

Think the only way to understand the #MUFC - related going-ons over the past week is to see it as a scripted TV show. Unsure whether it'll end in tragedy, but the twists, injustice, and drama are 10/10.

This is idiotic. If the FA have any shame, they’ll relook this rule and refine it to be fairer and less subjective.
