Laboring moms can continue to come to the unit’s triage for assessment. Unfortunately, scheduled C-sections and appointments for the afternoon are being rebooked.

An electrical plug in our Childbirth Unit caught fire and a Code Red was called. A nurse quickly swooped in and extinguished the fire, and all our patients and staff are safe. (A huge call out to nurses on Nursing Week – they truly do it all — even firefighting!)
