Moving to 4 days under capitalism is not a good idea. First it would almost certainly mean 4 10 hour days so the surplus value generated for capitalism is unchanged. Any relief of 3 days off would not address the underlying problem. Second, once they have people on 4 10s it’s easier to move to 5 10s

Oh, federal employees absolutely CAN accept gifts like this. Maybe they aren’t allowed to, but Trump is a federal employee, right? He’s accepting gifts like airplanes and cash every day.

This person specifically attacked communism. I am asking them to better educate themselves before making silly attacks which are based on propaganda and not honest research or education.

It addresses how humans developed throughout history and the means by which systems have oppressed them. Production is part of that. But it deals with the evolution of class societies and does relate to the current discussion.

I am unaware of any self-congratulatory communists. Maybe you mistake criticism of one thing as celebration of another.

Understanding what our present situation is, is very important. Understanding the system that got us here is more important. The only way to escape is to understand.
