Good for him but I am tired of learning about all the ways a 41-year-old candidate for U.S. Senate supposedly has a lot more growing and learning to do. Maybe do that before the Senate? And maybe try out a lower office before then?
Or maybe we just watch him blossom into another Sinema/Fetterman.

Live update from The Guardian. Headline: "Orban concedes election to Tisza's Magyar" Story: "Viktor Orban is now speaking at Fidesz's election night and he says the election result is 'clear' as he concedes defeat. "He says he congratulated the winning party and admits the result is painful for Fidesz."
OH. MY. GOD.
Not only a win, but a concession by Orban!!!!! WHAT A DAY FOR DEMOCRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These 3 are doing the same thing - using a war.
This shouldn't even be up for debate. The arrogance involved in projecting one's personal views into how another person should identify is unmatched. Who others love, who they feel an affinity with, how they would describe themselves, etc. have no bearing on my life or my identity.
I haven't recovered from yesterday. The number of people unbothered by the President of the United States making threats of that nature is jolting, even if unsurprising. The belief he'll pivot ahead of catastrophe keeps people from engaging. Meanwhile, he's learning how much he can get away with.
My last thought before I fall asleep and the first thought when I wake up is along the lines of wondering how this mess is real.
Trump insane Easter post
Mamdani warm and gracious easter greetings
One of these political leaders has been repeatedly portrayed as an untrustworthy radical hostile to others because of his religious beliefs. Youββll never guess which one!
I think about this a lot.
Rightwing dudes: "Women shouldn't be in leadership. Women shouldn't vote. They're not rational like men."
Also, somehow, rightwing dudes: "The hand of God teleported me to a Waffle House."
How handy the markets are closed today.
Take another day off. We need more things to flip.

The Villages retirement community in Florida have turned out in huge numbers for No Kings. William Steiner, our Villages correspondent, says that the turnout is twice as big as last year's.
I often think about that price tag and where that money all goes. War entrepreneurs are living large.
Happy Birthday!
I'm hoping for two. Love to see it!
The nation is experiencing acid-churning Big Ten basketball.
It appears that in planning for Operation Metro Surge, the government failed to plan for the constitutional rights of its civil detainees. The government suggests β with minimal explanation and even less evidence β that doing so would result in "chaos." The Constitution does not permit the government to arrest thousands of individuals and then disregard their constitutional rights because it would be too challenging to honor those rights. 14 At this preliminary stage, Plaintiffs have made a clear showing of likelihood of success on their Fifth Amendment claim.
BREAKING: Judge Nancy Brasel, a Trump appointee, has issued a TRO in the Minnesota access-to-counsel case about treatment at Whipple.

This looks like a skit. I don't see any logos on the attendant and no one pulls a curtain to prepare for take off. Aisles can't be obstructed. I hope I'm right.
Yep. I'm done. My money sponge for overpriced entertainment is all wrung out. Dry as a bone.
It didn't have to be this way.
GOP Senators John Kennedy and Ted Cruz devised this off-ramp, Kennedy says on Fox: "Senator Thune submitted that to President Trump. As is his right, he said no. βNo deals with the Democrats.β It would have worked. We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week. But the president said no deal."
